The Samsung Galaxy A16 and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G are Android mid-range smartphones developed by Samsung in 2024. It currently runs in Android 14 with One UI 6.1. Being announced on October 7, 2024, it was released in Europe on October 25. It was only made available in the United States after three months, in January 2025. It has 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options along with 128GB/256GB storage options. It is set to receive six generation updates in a span of six years, eventually ceasing to receive updates in October 2030. The Samsung Exynos (stylized as SΛMSUNG Exynos), formerly Hummingbird (), is a series of ARM architecture, Arm-based System on a chip, system-on-chips developed by Samsung Electronics' System LSI division and manufactured by Samsung Foundry. It is a continuation of Samsung's earlier List of Samsung systems on a chip, S3C, S5L and S5P line of SoCs.
