Samriddhi Mehra
Samriddhi, a word which means prosperity in English, is an annual student-run business conference that takes place at the Goa Institute of Management, India. One of the largest Business School Conferences, it is a three-day event that features prominent speakers and participants from colleges all over India. The main event during Samriddhi is the business conference, where speakers from diverse business backgrounds and interests come together and speak about topics related to the theme of that year's conference. Other events also that take place during the course of the three-day conference include quizzes, case studies, and a photography competition. 2012 The theme for the year 2012 was "The Business of Innovation". Speakers from varying backgrounds came together to speak about their fields of work and explain to students how they brought about innovation. The Goa Institute of Management (abbreviated as GIM-Goa) is an Indian autonomous business school located North Goa district in the state of Goa. Alyque Padamsee
Alyque Padamsee (5 March 1928 – 17 November 2018) was an Indian theatre personality and ad film maker. He played Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the 1982 British period film ''Gandhi''. He was conferred with Padma Shri in 2000. Besides being involved in Indian theatre as an actor and producer, Padamsee was an advertising professional who once headed the advertising company Lintas Bombay. Early life and education Padamsee was born in Bombay in 1928 into a traditional Ismaili Khoja Muslim family hailing from the Kutch region of Gujarat. The ancestors of the Padamsee family originally belonged to the Charan community of Kutch who later converted to Islam. Bharat Vir Wanchoo
Bharat Vir Wanchoo (born 15 October 1951), better known as B.V. Wanchoo, is an Indian politician who served as the Governor of Goa from May 2012 to July 2014. Formerly, he was the director of the Special Protection Group until 2011. Personal life Wanchoo was born on 15 October 1951. He studied at the Scindia School in Gwalior and is a post-graduate in History from the Delhi University. He is married to Nalini Wanchoo. Career Wanchoo belongs to the 1976 batch of the Indian Police Service from the West Bengal cadre. He was posted in the Intelligence Bureau when he was asked to join the Special Protection Group set up in 1985 after the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
