Samora Moses Goodson (born October 7, 1984) is an American former professional football wide receiver. Early life and college Goodson was born in San Jose, California, grew up in Hayward, California, and graduated from Hayward High School in 2002. At Hayward High, Goodson played basketball and only one year of football. Goodson then went to Citrus College, a community college in the Los Angeles suburb Glendora. Goodson showed medium interest in the Division I-A schools Nevada, Oregon State, San Diego State, and Washington, but none offered him a scholarship. In 2005, Goodson transferred to the Division I-AA Southeast Missouri State University. Moran Khulu, better known as Samora Khulu, (died 6 August 2008) was a South African football (soccer) striker who played for African Wanderers, Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu. Club career Joe Frickleton discovered Khulu when he still played for African Wanderers in Durban. "I immediately spotted his potential while I was still coaching Highlands Park - and the great measure of success Chiefs achieved in the record breaking season was due to him." Samora Muhammad Yunis ( Ge’ez: ሳሞራ መሐመድ ዩንስ) is an Ethiopian military officer. Born in the Tigray Region in the north of the country, Yunis rose to be a four-star general in the Ethiopian National Defence Forces and eventually Chief of the General Staff in 2001. Dr. Julian Samora (March 1, 1920 – February 2, 1996) was an American teacher, scholar and community activist who helped to pioneer the field of Latino Studies. Samora was the first Mexican-American to ever receive a doctorate in sociology; and, by the end of his academic career, he was named Professor Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame.
