Sammy Clark
Sami Clark (; 19 May 1948 – 20 February 2022) was a Lebanese singer, who had his career peak in the 1980s. Life and career Clark began his music career in the late 1960s, a few years after joining the Faculty of Law at the Jesuit University in Beirut without graduating there. He won several international prizes throughout his lifetime, such as the Menschen und Meer prize in Austria for his song Mori Mori, which granted him international recognition. His songs are characterized by romanticism and his distinct operatic voice. Besides Arabic (Lebanese) and English, Clark sang in Armenian, French, Italian, and Russian. He was famous for performing the score of popular cartoons in the 1980s, most notably for singing the Arabic theme song of the Japanese anime " Grandizer." Dhour El Choueir
Dhour El Choueir (), sometimes Dhour Shweir, is a mountain town in Lebanon ('dhour' meaning 'summit, top f a mountain) located in the Matn District. It lies slightly north of the main Beirut - Damascus highway, overlooking the city of Beirut and the Mediterranean sea, some 30 km from Beirut and 42 km from Beirut International Airport in Khalde. This mountain town is one of Mount Lebanon's favored summer resorts, known for its extraordinary fresh air and is also important for its August yearly carnival, honoring Lebanon's emigrants. It is linked to Beirut via the Matn Express Highway, also known as the M90 through Baabdat. University Of Balamand
The University of Balamand (UOB; ) is a private institution, secular in its policies and approach to education. It welcomes faculty, students, and staff from all faiths and national or ethnic origins. The university is located in the northern district of El-Koura, Lebanon. It was founded by the Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius IV of Antioch in 1988. The university's main campus is adjacent to Balamand Monastery, but it has three other campuses in Dekwaneh Beirut, Souk El Gharb and Beino Akkar. Formerly conceived as just a project in the Koura District, it fused administratively with the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) and St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology to become a full-blown university. Grendizer
, also known as '' Grandizer'', ''Ufo Robot Grendizer Raids'', ''Goldrake'' and ''Goldorak'', is a Japanese manga and animated television series created by Go Nagai. The series is the third entry in the '' Mazinger'' series, later relegated into a spinoff series. Treasure Island (1978 TV Series)
is a Japanese anime television series that aired in 1978 and 1979 in Japan and in the mid-1980s in Europe, Mexico, South America & Arab World countries, based on Robert Louis Stevenson's 1883 novel of the same name. In 2013, the 1987 movie compilation was dubbed in English by Bang Zoom! Entertainment and available on the North American Hulu, but has since been removed.
