Sami Hasan Al Nash
Sami Hasan Saleh Al Hadi Al Nash ( ar, سامي حسن صالح آل هادي ناش; 2 May 1957 – 10 May 2021) was a Yemeni professional football manager. Career Since January until May 2009 he coached the Yemen national team. Later, since January until October 2012 he again worked as manager of the Yemen team. In March 2013 he became a head coach of the Al-Ahli Ta'izz. Also since April until December 2013 he led the Yemen team. In 2019, he was once again appointed coach of Yemen in preparation for the 2019 WAFF Championship replacing Ján Kocian. Yemen
Yemen (; ar, ٱلْيَمَن, al-Yaman), officially the Republic of Yemen,, ) is a country in Western Asia. Aden ( ar, عدن ' Yemeni: ) is a city, and since 2015, the temporary capital of Yemen, near the eastern approach to the Red Sea (the Gulf of Aden), some east of the strait Bab-el-Mandeb. Its population is approximately 800,000 people. Aden's natural harbour lies in the crater of a dormant volcano, which now forms a peninsula joined to the mainland by a low isthmus. The Yemen national football team ( ar, منتخب اليمن الوطني لكرة القدم), is the national team of Yemen and is controlled by the Yemen Football Association. When the nation was split into North Yemen and South Yemen before 1990, two national teams existed. After unification, the Yemen national football team is considered the successor of the North Yemen national football team. 2019 WAFF Championship
The 2019 West Asian Football Federation Championship, also called Asiacell WAFF Championship Iraq 2019 due to sponsorship by Asiacell, was the 9th edition of the WAFF Championship, an international tournament for member nations of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). It was hosted in Iraq for the first time, in the cities of Karbala and Erbil. The tournament was meant to be held from 8 to 17 December 2017 in Amman, Jordan, but was postponed to a later date, and subsequently moved to Iraq on 21 May 2018. It was then expected to be held in November 2018, but yet again postponed to July–August 2019. All WAFF members, excluding title holders Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, participated in the competition. Of the nine teams, seven had also appeared in the previous tournament in 2014. Ján Kocian
Ján Kocian (born 13 March 1958) is a Slovak football coach and former player who last managed ViOn Zlaté Moravce in Fortuna Liga and also held managerial positions across central Europe and Asia. Playing career During his playing days, he made 209 appearances for Dukla Banská Bystrica between 1979 and 1988 before moving on to German club FC St. Pauli, where he made another 147 appearances up to 1993. He was capped 26 times by Czechoslovakia. Playing at sweeper as the team reached the 1990 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals, Kocian was voted the country's player of the year in 1990.
