Samad Allapitchay
Samad Allapitchay (born 1950) is a former Singapore national football team captain who played for National Football League sides Geylang International and Tampines Rovers, and the Singapore Lions in the Malaysia Cup as a centre-back. Samad was known as a hard-tackling, no-nonsense defender with a penchant for bulldozing his way from defence to attack. He was once dubbed "The Rock of Gilbratar" by his national team coach Mick Walker (football manager), Mick Walker. Personal life Samad is married to Norizan Aljunied. Seak Poh Leong
Seak Poh Leong (born 1952) is a former Singapore national football team captain who played for National Football League side Singapore Armed Forces Sports Association and Singapore FA in the Malaysia Cup as a midfielder. He was the national team coach from 1987 to 1988 and had a reputation as a strict disciplinarian. Shariff Abdul Samat
Muhammad Shariff bin Abdul Samat (5 January 1984 – 10 February 2020) was a Singaporean international footballer. Shariff is the son of former Singaporean international Samad Allapitchay and like his father, he usually played as a centre-back. Club career Shariff previously played for S.League clubs Sembawang Rangers FC, Young Lions and Tampines Rovers FC. He was brought into the Tampines Rovers squad from the Young Lions after a stint with Sembawang Rangers FC, largely as a back-up player for the 2007/2008 highlighting season. However, due to teammate Sead Muratovic's failure to pass the annual fitness test, he became a major part of the first team's fixture in the S-League. He then joined Home United FC in 2010. Mick Walker (football Manager)
Mick Walker (born 27 November 1940) is an English former football player and manager. As a player, he started his career as an apprentice with Nottingham Forest and played non-league football for several clubs including Kettering Town and Matlock Town. He later became manager of the reserve team at Ilkeston Town before being appointed first-team manager in 1971 following the departure of Dave Agnew. Six months later, Walker was hired as manager of the Singapore national team. He joined Burton Albion as manager in 1976 and spent two years in charge of the club, later joining the coaching staff at Notts County. Walker had a spell as manager of Notts County, succeeding Neil Warnock in January 1993. He was fired in September 1994.
