Sam Streeter
Samuel Streeter (September 17, 1900 - August 15, 1985) was an American baseball pitcher in the Negro leagues. He played professionally from 1920 to 1936 with several teams, mostly with the Birmingham Black Barons and the Pittsburgh Crawfords. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the Baseball (ball), baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of out (baseball), retiring a batter (baseball), batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitch (baseball), pitched ball or draw a base on balls, walk.
