Sam McIntosh
Sam McIntosh (born 13 July 1990) is an Australian Paralympic athlete who races in the T52 100m, 200m, and 400m events. He holds 3 Australian National Records and 2 Oceania Records. He represented Australia at the 2012 London Paralympic Games, 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in athletics as well as the 2011, 2015, 2017, and 2019 Para Athletic World Championships. Early life McIntosh was born on 13 July 1990 in Geelong, the youngest of three children to Glenn and Jenny McIntosh. He attended St. Thomas Primary School in Drysdale. In his youth, Sam showed an interest in individual sports and activities, such as swimming, karate, and BMX bike riding. Sam swam at the state level and at the Victorian Country LC Championships. Drysdale, Victoria
Drysdale is a rural township near Geelong, Victoria, Australia, located on the Bellarine Peninsula. The town has an approximate population of over 3,700. Drysdale forms part of an urban area, along with nearby Clifton Springs, that had an estimated population of 13,494 Estimated resident population, 30 June 2016. at June 2016. The 2023 World Para Athletics Championships was a Paralympic track and field meet organized by the World Para Athletics subcommittee of the International Paralympic Committee. Martin Jackson also known as Marty Jackson (born 18 February 1978) is an Australian Paralympic athletics (shot put athlete) and para ice hockey player. Personal life Jackson is a qualified level 5 Arborist. Jackson idolizes Denmark's F44 Shot Put Thrower Jackie Christiansen. He practices his strength and conditioning at Anytime Fitness in Geelong, Elite Training Centre, Geelong and the Geelong Cats High Performance Centre Grid Iron Jackson played Gridiron for Geelong club Geelong Buccaneers and had representative honours with Victoria in 2010 and 2012. He was also inducted into the Geelong Buccaneers ‘Ring of Champions’ in recognition for his hard nosed style of play on the gridiron field.
