Sam Cohen (musician)
Samuel Benjamin Cohen (born September 28, 1979) is an American rock vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, artist, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. A founding member of the psychedelic rock and pop music, pop band Apollo Sunshine, he released several albums with the group in the early 2000s. In 2009 he formed the solo project Yellowbirds, releasing the debut album ''The Color (album), The Color'' in 2011. This release was followed by ''Songs from the Vanished Frontier'' in 2013. The first Sam Cohen record, ''Cool It'', was released on April 28, 2015, on Easy Sound Records, and primary featured Cohen playing all of the instruments. It was then re-released on Danger Mouse (musician), Danger Mouse's imprint of Columbia Records, 30th Century Records, on June 3, 2016. Dawn Landes (born December 5, 1980) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She is originally from around Louisville, Kentucky but spent many years living and performing in Brooklyn, New York. Cass McCombs (born November 13, 1977) is an American singer-songwriter. Career McCombs has played in numerous bands in the Bay Area during the 1990s before relocating to New York City. He released his debut EP '' Not the Way E.P.'' (2002), debut album '' A'' (2003), and follow-up '' PREfection'' (2005) via Monitor Records and 4AD. In 2007, McCombs signed to Domino Records and released '' Dropping the Writ'' (2007). Nels Cline
Nels Courtney Cline (born January 4, 1956) is an American guitarist and composer. He has been a guitarist for the band Wilco since 2004. In the 1980s he played jazz, often in collaboration with his twin brother Alex, a percussionist. He has worked with musicians in punk and alternative rock such as Carla Bozulich and the Geraldine Fibbers, Mike Watt and Thurston Moore. He leads the Nels Cline Singers, Nels Cline Trio, and the Nels Cline 4. Cline was named the 82nd greatest guitarist of all time by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine in November 2011. The Complete Last Waltz
The Complete Last Waltz is a live rock show put on bGolden Gate Presents including all 41 songs from the historic 1976 rock and roll concert The Last Waltz. Thirty eight musicians from current rock bands participated in the original presentation on November 24, 2012, at The Warfield Theater in San Francisco. In 2013, 2014, 2016 & 2018 the show was performed at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. Robert Hall Weir ( ; né Parber, born October 16, 1947) is an American musician and songwriter best known as a founding member of the Grateful Dead. After the group disbanded in 1995, Weir performed with the Other Ones, later known as the Dead, together with other former members of the Grateful Dead. Walter Martin is an American musician and songwriter best known as a founding member of the New York City indie rock bands The Walkmen (co-writer, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist 2000–2013; 2023–present) and Jonathan Fire*Eater (co-writer, organist 1994–1998). Following the Walkmen's break-up in 2013, Martin launched a critically acclaimed solo career and has subsequently released seven studio albums.
