Sam Chupp
Sam Chupp is a tabletop game designer from the United States. Career Sam Chupp is the co-creator of the roleplaying games ''Wraith: the Oblivion'' (1994) and ''Changeling: The Dreaming'' (1995). Chupp was the Special Guest at the Marmalade Dog Gamefest II in 1995. He also wrote the religious biblical verse in the best-selling art book called the ''Book of Nod''. He won an ''Origins Award'' in 2003 for Best Game Aid Or Accessory for his work on ''Gamemastering Secrets'' by Grey Ghost Press. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Roleplaying Game
A role-playing game (sometimes spelled roleplaying game, or abbreviated as RPG) is a game in which players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting or through a process of structured decision-making regarding character development. The Dreaming
The Dreaming, also referred to as Dreamtime, is a term devised by early anthropologists to refer to a religio-cultural worldview attributed to Australian Aboriginal mythology. It was originally used by Francis Gillen, quickly adopted by his colleague Walter Baldwin Spencer, and thereafter popularised by A. P. Elkin, who later revised his views. The Dreaming is used to represent Aboriginal concepts of "Everywhen", during which the land was inhabited by ancestral figures, often of heroic proportions or with supernatural abilities. Marmalade Dog is an annual gaming convention operated by the Western Michigan Gamers Guild (WMGG) and held on the campus of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan each spring. Marmalade Dog is traditionally held in The Bernhard Center (WMU's student union). Exceptions to this were in 1999 (Sangren Hall), 2002 (Ellsworth Cafeteria) and 2006 (Student Recreation Center). Grey Ghost Press was founded in 1994 by Ann Dupuis after spending time working on the '' Fudge RPG'' system by Steffan O'Sullivan. She initially created the company as Wild Mule Games in 1994, incorporated her company the following year as Ghostdancer Press, and then renamed it Grey Ghost Press.
