Antonio Salvetti
Antonio Salvetti (1854 – August 17, 1931) was an Italian architect and painter. He was born in Colle di Val d'Elsa in Tuscany. He studied Architecture at the Royal Florentine Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in portraits. He lived for long periods of time in Paris and Munich. In Florence, he befriended many of the Macchiaioli painters, including Vittorio Meoni, Niccolò Cannicci Niccolò Cannicci (1846–1906) was an Italian painter; best known for his urban and rural views, often depicting the intersection of the urban and industrial landscape with the rural and pastoral. Maria Vittoria Salvetti is an Italian aerospace engineer specializing in computational fluid dynamics and especially in the large eddy simulation of turbulence and complex flows. She is a professor of fluid dynamics at the University of Pisa, where she directs the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering. Education and career Salvetti earned a laurea in aerospace engineering from the University of Pisa in 1989. She completed a PhD in engineering science at the Université Nice-Sophia-Antipolis in France in 1993. Her research involved the simulation of hypersonic flows occurring in atmospheric entry, and was carried out at the French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA). Emiliano Salvetti (born 1 January 1974 in Forlì) is an Italian former footballer who played as a midfielder. He is best known for his time as a Cesena mainstay from 1996 to 1999, and again from 2004 to 2008. Alide Maria Salvetta (22 March 1941 – 19 March 1991) was an Italian operatic soprano who had an active international career in concerts and operas from the 1960s until her death in 1991. Life and career Born in , Trento, Salvetta was trained at the Conservatorio Claudio Monteverdi in Bolzano where she later taught on the voice faculty. She began performing professionally in the mid-1960s.
