Salve Deus Rex Judaeorum
''Salve Deus Rex Judaeorum'' (Latin: ''Hail, God, King of the Jews'') is a volume of poems by English poet Emilia Lanier published in 1611. It was the first book of original poetry published by a woman in England. It was also the first book of poetry written by an English woman in an effort to attract a patron. The volume contains several short poems, each dedicated to a different woman, a long title poem ''Salve Deus Rex Judaeorum'' and the first English country house poem entitled "The Description of Cooke-ham". Emilia Lanier Theory Of Shakespeare Authorship
The Emilia Lanier theory of Shakespeare authorship contends that the English poet Emilia Lanier (; 1569–1645) is the Shakespeare authorship question, actual author of at least part of the plays and poems attributed to William Shakespeare. As is the case with the List of Shakespeare authorship candidates, dozens of other candidates suggested to be the author of Shakespeare's works, this idea is not accepted by the large majority of Shakespeare scholars. John Hudson In 2008, John Hudson, scholar and theatre producer, introduced the idea that Lanier wrote the Shakespeare bibliography, works of Shakespeare. Pontius Pilate
Pontius Pilate (; ) was the Roman administration of Judaea (AD 6–135), fifth governor of the Judaea (Roman province), Roman province of Judaea, serving under Emperor Tiberius from 26/27 to 36/37 AD. Pilate's Wife
The unnamed wife of Pontius Pilate appears only once in the Gospel of Matthew (27:19), where she intercedes with Pilate on Jesus' behalf. It is uncertain whether Pilate was actually married, although it is likely. In later tradition, she becomes known as Procula (), Procla () or Procle and plays a role in various New Testament Apocrypha.
