Salvatore Accardo
Salvatore Accardo (; Knight Grand Cross born 26 September 1941 in Turin, northern Italy) is an Italian violinist and conductor, who is known for his interpretations of the works of Niccolò Paganini. Accardo owns one Stradivarius violin, the "Hart ex Francescatti" (1727) and had the "Firebird ex Saint-Exupéry" (1718). Biography Accardo studied violin in the southern Italian city of Naples in the 1950s. He gave his first professional recital at the age of 13 performing Paganini's ''Capricci''. In 1958 Accardo became the first prize winner of the Paganini Competition in Genoa. In the 1970s he was a leader of the celebrated Italian chamber orchestra " I Musici" (1972-1977). After he was a student in Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, he taught there from 1973 to 1980. Salvatore Barone (born 13 December 1995) is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder for New Amsterdam FC in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). Career Early career Barone, from an early age played with the Brooklyn Italians youth league. His father, Joe Barone, was the head coach of the Brooklyn Italians senior squad from 2009 to 2010 and then became chairman of the National Premier Soccer League in 2013. Salvatore Bagni (; born 25 September 1956 in Correggio) is a former Italian footballer who mainly played as a central midfielder. He currently works as a sporting director. Bagni played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, in particular Inter, where he won a Coppa Italia title, and Napoli, where he won a ''Scudetto''-Coppa Italia double. Salvatore Baccaloni (14 April 190031 December 1969) was an Italian operatic bass, buffo artist, and actor. Life and career Baccaloni was born in Rome. After attending the Sistine Chapel choir school from age seven, he studied voice with the celebrated baritone Giuseppe Kaschmann ( Josip Kašman, 1847–1925) and cast aside his initial ambitions to become an architect. He made his professional debut as Bartolo in '' The Barber of Seville'', at Rome's Teatro Adriano, in 1922.
