Salvador Nasralla
Salvador Alejandro César Nasralla Salum (born 30 January 1953) is a Honduran civil engineer, sports journalist, television presenter, businessman, and politician who served as the First Vice President of Honduras from 2022 until his resignation in 2024. A member of the Liberal Party, he has been described as a centrist. Nasralla began his career in business, before becoming the presenter of the TV programs ''5 Deportivo'' and ''X-0 da Dinero''; he has been called "''El señor de la televisión''". He founded the Anti-Corruption Party in 2011 and stood for president in the 2013 Honduran general election, coming in fourth place. Vice President Of Honduras
The vice presidents of Honduras, officially the Designates to the Presidency (), is the second highest political position in Honduras. According to the current constitution, the president and vice-presidents are elected in the same ticket. From 1957 to 2006 and from 2010 onwards there are positions of first, second, and third vice-president commonly known as the presidential designates (). 2017 Honduran General Election
General elections were held in Honduras on 26 November 2017. Voters went to the polls to elect the President of Honduras to serve a four-year term, as well as 128 members of the unicameral National Congress, 20 members for the Central American Parliament and mayors for the municipalities of Honduras. The elections were the first after the constitution of Honduras was amended to allow for a president to seek re-election, a controversial development since the mere possibility of changing the constitution to allow for re-election was a primary justification for the 2009 Honduran coup d'état. Colón Department (Honduras)
Colón is one of the 18 Departments of Honduras, departments into which Honduras is divided. It was created in 1881. Trujillo, Honduras
Trujillo is a city, with a population of 22,750 (2023 calculation), and a municipality on the northern Caribbean coast of the Honduran department of Colón, of which the city is the capital. The municipality had a population of about 30,000 (2003). The city is located on a bluff overlooking the Bay of Trujillo. Francisco Morazán Department
Francisco Morazán (, abbreviated FMO) is one of the departments of Honduras. It is located in the central part of the nation. The departmental capital is Tegucigalpa, which is also Honduras's national capital. The department is very mountainous, with rugged ranges covered in pine forests; which are rocky and mostly clay. Valleys, like those of Guaimaca, Talanga, and Amarateca, are interspersed among the ranges. Many of the high mountain peaks house cloud forests, like La Tigra National park or Cerro Uyuca. 2025 Honduran General Election
General elections are due to be held in Honduras on 30 November 2025 to elect the President, members of the National Congress and 20 members of the Central American Parliament. Electoral system The President of Honduras is elected by plurality, with the candidate receiving the most votes in a single round of voting declared the winner. General elections were held in Honduras on 28 November 2021. Among the positions being contested was the President of Honduras, head of state and head of government of Honduras, to replace Juan Orlando Hernández from the National Party of Honduras, National Party.
