Sally Jean Gray Order of the British Empire, MBE (born June 1968) is a United Kingdom, Scottish television presenter. Life and career Education and early career Gray earned a BA Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Queen Margaret University, Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh. After graduation Gray began to work behind the scenes at the BBC, and soon after, entered a BBC Journalism course. On this course Gray researched for programmes such as ''Question Time (TV programme), Question Time'', ''Public Eye (TV series), Public Eye'' and ''BBC Newsroom South East''. In 2001, Gray participated in the celebrity special in the fourth season of ''Fort Boyard (British game show), Fort Boyard'' alongside Nell McAndrew, Tris Payne, Scott Wright (actor), Scott Wright and Keith Duffy. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding valuable service in a wide range of useful activities. It comprises five classes of awards across both civil and military divisions, the most senior two of which make the recipient either a Orders, decorations, and medals of the United Kingdom#Modern honours, knight if male or a dame (title), dame if female. There is also the related British Empire Medal, whose recipients are affiliated with the order, but are not members of it. Keith Duffy
Keith Peter Thomas Francis Julian John Duffy (born 1 October 1974) is an Irish singer, actor, radio and television presenter and drummer who began his professional music career as part of Irish boy band Boyzone alongside Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately in 1993. The band decided to focus on solo projects in 2000, since which Duffy has taken acting roles in soap operas such as ''Coronation Street'' and '' Fair City''. ''Record Breakers'' was a British children's TV show, themed around world records and produced by the BBC. It was broadcast on BBC1 from 15 December 1972 to 21 December 2001. Format The programme was a spin-off series from '' Blue Peter'' which had featured record breaking attempts overseen by the McWhirter twins. ''50/50'' is a British children's television game show for BBC television. Airing on BBC One's children's television block, it was first broadcast on 7 April 1997 and ended its run on 12 July 2005 after 9 series. Repeats aired on BBC One, BBC Two and the CBBC channel until 2009. Sally Gray hosted the show from its inception until 2002, followed by Angellica Bell until 2004 and Sophie McDonnell in 2005.
