Georgia Senate
The Georgia State Senate is the upper house of the Georgia General Assembly, in the U.S. state of Georgia. The Georgia State Senate and the lower house of the General Assembly, the Georgia House of Representatives, comprise the bicameral legislature of the state. Haskew Brantley
Haskew Brantley (September 28, 1922 – August 23, 2001) was an American politician. He served as a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives. He also served as a member for the 56th district of the Georgia State Senate. Life and career Brantley was born in Jefferson County, Georgia. He attended Georgia Tech, and then served in the United States Army during the World War II and the Korean War. In 1967, Brantley was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives, serving until 1974. Tom Price (American Politician)
Thomas Edmunds Price (born October 8, 1954) is an American physician and Republican Party politician who served as the U.S. representative for , encompassing the northern suburbs of Atlanta, from 2005 to 2017. While in Congress, Price chaired the House Committee on the Budget, Republican Study Committee and Republican Policy Committee. He was appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services by President Donald Trump and served in that role from February to September 2017. On September 29, 2017, he resigned as head of HHS following criticism of using government money to pay for private jet travel.
