Salisu Usman Ogbo
Salisu Usman Ogbo (born October 25, 1972) is a Nigerian academic administrator and politician. He is the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic in Lokoja, Nigeria, having been appointed first in an acting capacity in 2020 and confirmed in 2021. Early life and education Ogbo was born in Ankpa, Kogi State, Nigeria. He studied at Bayero University Kano, earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science and later a master's degree from University of Ilorin. He also attended Nasarawa State University, Keffi for further postgraduate studies. Career Before his appointment as Rector, Ogbo served as a lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Kogi State University. Ankpa is a Local Government Area in Kogi State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Ankpa on the A233 highway in the west of the area at . Kogi State Polytechnic was established in 1993, and is located along Lokoja/Abuja Expressway, Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria. It is owned and operated by Kogi State Government. As of 2007 it was accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to give certificates in Art and printing, Business, Engineering, Finance and Science Computing at the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels. Keffi Local Government Area and a traditional and commercial town in Nasarawa State, north central Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Keffi. Keffi is 50 kilometers from Abuja.
