Saleem Javed
Mohammad Saleem (Urdu محمد سلیم) better known as Saleem Javed is a Pakistani pop singer born in Hyderabad, Sindh, Hyderabad, Pakistan. He emerged to fame in the 1980s, though, he was already known in some quarters before that, as a semi-classical singer due to his work in the classical industry. Saleem Javed practically started the trend of Re-Mixing old songs with new instrumentation and improvisation in early 80s. Salim–Javed
Salim–Javed were an Indian screenwriting duo, composed of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, who worked primarily in Hindi cinema. They were among the first Indian screenwriters to achieve star status, and are regarded as among "Hindi cinema's greatest screenwriters". They worked together on 24 films between 1971 and 1987, of which 20 were commercially and critically successful. Salim–Javed revolutionized Indian cinema in the 1970s, transforming and reinventing the Bollywood formula, and pioneering the Bollywood Blockbuster (entertainment), blockbuster format. A significant departure from the romance films that had previously dominated Bollywood, Salim–Javed were among the pioneers of cultural phenomena such as the "angry young man" character archetype, the masala film, the Dacoit Western genre, and Mumbai underworld film, Bombay underworld crime films. Piya Gee
The ''Piya'' (; "Increased ra") was a Chinese dictionary compiled by Song Dynasty scholar Lu Dian ( 陸佃/陆佃, 1042-1102). He wrote this ''Erya'' supplement along with his ''Erya Xinyi'' (爾雅新義 "New Exegesis of the ''Erya''") commentary. Although the ''Piya'' preface written by his son Lu Zai (陸宰/陆宰) is dated 1125, the dictionary was written earlier; estimates around the Yuanfeng era (元豐, 1078–1085), and Joseph Needham says around 1096. Lu Dian arranged the ''Piya'' into 8 semantically based chapters that closely correspond with the last ''Erya'' chapters 13-19. The only exceptions are Chapter 5 ("Explaining Horses") that is contained in ''Erya'' 19 ("Explaining Domestic Animals") and Chapter 8 ("Explaining Heaven") that anomalously corresponds with the first part of the ''Erya''. Josh, sometimes stylized as JoSH or as Jösh, is a Canadian Bhangra music group formed in 2000 in Montreal, Quebec. Present members are "Rup" (Rup Magon) and "Q" (Qurram Hussain). Their songs showcase both modern and bhangra beats and music, but are strongly influenced by hip hop and pop music. Career Josh was founded in 1996 by Rup Magon with his brother, Rik Magon, and friend Shiraz 'Shazi' Hussain. They were joined by Qurram 'q' Hussein, Rup's in 1998, and two years later Rup and Q embarked on their own path for JoSH as a duo without Rik and Shiraz.
