Saint-Jacques () is a station on Line 6 of the Paris Métro. It serves Place Saint-Jacques in the 14th arrondissement. The Boulevard Saint-Jacques and Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Jacques also intersect the square. It is one of only a few Métro stations that have a combined entrance and ticket hall at street-level. Saint-Jacques River is a river in southwestern Quebec, Canada that drains the Saint Lawrence Lowlands. The Saint-Jacques River is a tributary of the Portneuf River (Capitale-Nationale), Portneuf River, flowing in the municipalities of Pont-Rouge, Quebec, Pont-Rouge and Saint-Basile, Quebec, Saint-Basile, in the Portneuf Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Capitale-Nationale, in the provinces and territories of Canada, province of Quebec, Canada. Saint-Jacques is a geographic parish in Madawaska County, New Brunswick, Canada. The parish consists of two discontiguous portions separated by Saint-Joseph Parish. For governance purposes the southwestern portion is divided between the city of Edmundston, which includes the tier of grants on either side of the Madawaska River, and the Northwest rural district; the northeastern portion is part of the rural district. Both city and rural district are members of the Northwest Regional Service Commission. Before the 2023 governance reform, the parish was divided between Edmundston and the local service district of the parish of Saint-Jacques, part of which was annexed by Edmundston in the reform. Saint-Jacques was a provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of Quebec, Canada. It corresponded to part of the Le Plateau-Mont-Royal and Ville-Marie areas of Montreal. It was created for the 1966 election from parts of Montréal–Saint-Jacques, Montréal–Sainte-Marie and Montréal–Saint-Louis electoral districts. Its final election was in 1985. Saint-Jacques Cathedral (''Cathédrale Saint-Jacques'') was the Roman Catholic cathedral in Montreal from 1825 to 1852, named for St. James the Greater. From 1825 to 1836, it was the seat of the auxiliary bishop of Quebec in Montreal. With the creation of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Montreal, Roman Catholic Diocese of Montreal in 1836, it became the cathedral of the new diocese. Saint-Jacques was a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1953 to 1988. There were two separate ridings named "Saint-Jacques". The first was created in 1952 from Cartier and St. James ridings. It was abolished in 1976 when it was redistributed into Laurier and Saint-Henri ridings. A second "Saint-Jacques" riding was created in 1977 when Saint-Henri was renamed Saint-Jacques.
