Saidamen Pangarungan
Saidamen Balt Pangarungan (born September 23, 1950) is a Filipino businessman, lawyer and politician who previously served as the ''ad interim'' Chairman of the Commission on Elections (Philippines), Commission on Elections from March–June 2022. He previously served as the secretary of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos in the Duterte administration, and was the governor of Lanao del Sur from 1986 and again from 1988 to 1992. Education and work He studied at the Jamiatul Philippine al-Islamia (Islamic University of the Philippines) in Marawi City, where he was a consistent valedictorian in his elementary and high school years in 1956–1966. He finished his Liberal Arts degree in 1971 and Law in 1976 at the San Beda College as a consistent college scholar. He passed the Philippine bar examinations on the same year with a weighted average of 85.6%. Saaduddin A. Alauya is a Maranao lawyer, Aleem or Ulama, elected vice-governor of Lanao del Sur in the Philippines in 1989 and has served the province of Lanao del Sur as an acting governor from 1992 to 1995. He was appointed as chairman of the Code of Commission on Muslim Laws in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in March 1994. He then appointed by Former President Fidel V.
