Saheed Aderinto (born January 22, 1979) is a Nigerian Americans, Nigerian American Professor of History and African and African Diaspora Studies at Florida International University, an award-winning author, and a filmmaker. He is the Founding President of the Lagos Studies Association. In February 2023, Aderinto received the $300,000 Dan David Prize–the largest financial reward for excellence in the historical discipline in the world in recognition of his “outstanding scholarship that illuminates the past and seeks to anchor public discourse in a deeper understanding of history.” He has published eight books, thirty-six journal articles and book chapters, forty encyclopedia articles, and twenty book reviews. Saheed Balogun (sometimes ''spelled "Saidi")'' (born February 5, 1967) is a veteran Nigerian actor, film-maker, director, and producer of many movies which include the first 2 cast movie in Africa and first 3 cast movies in West Africa etc. Early life and career Saheed Balogun was born on 5 February, Enugu State, South-East Nigeria but hails from Oyo State, Nigeria where he had his primary, secondary and tertiary education respectively. Saheed Idowu (born 3 January 1990 in Brazzaville) is a Congolese table tennis player. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's singles, but was defeated in the preliminary round. 2018 ITTF African-Cup Idowu competed in the 2018 ITTF African-Cup, placing second in group 2 behind Quadri Aruna, dropping the group match to Aruna (1-3),allowing him to qualify for the Quarter Finals. In the Quarter Finals, Idowu faced and defeated African Table Tennis legend Segun Toriola (4-2). In the Semi Finals, Idowu lost to eventual winner Omar Assar, dropping four straight games (0-4).
