Barbara Sahakian
Barbara Jacquelyn Sahakian is an English neuroscientist who is professor of clinical neuropsychology at the department of psychiatry and Medical Research Council (United Kingdom), Medical Research Council (MRC)/Wellcome Trust Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience Institute, University of Cambridge. She is also an honorary Clinical psychology, clinical psychologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. She has an international reputation in the fields of cognitive psychopharmacology, neuroethics, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry and neuroimaging. Sahakian is a fellow of Clare Hall, Cambridge. She is currently president of the International Neuroethics Society (INS), of which she is a founder member. She is past president of the British Association for Psychopharmacology (BAP), having served as president from 2012 to 2014. Jack Sahakian
Jack Leon Sahakian (July 17, 1931 – October 23, 1995) was an American hairstylist and actor. He was born in Oakland, California, the son of Karnic "Jack" Sahakian (July 27, 1907 – November 5, 1945) and Evelyn L. Reese (April 3, 1914 – December 2, 1973). His father was born in Armenia and his mother in Indiana. His father emigrated to the United States in 1914, joining his grandfather, Dicran Sahakian (1867–1929), who emigrated to the U.S. in 1910. The family lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, where Dicran was a grocery retail merchant, before moving to California. Dicran, who became an Oriental rug importer, wanted his surname to be perpetuated in the land of liberty. After moving to Oakland, he died there October 30, 1929. He stipulated in his will that the first boy born to the eldest of his five sons was to receive approximately $2,500. Avetik Sahakyan
Avetik Hovhannesi Sahakian (; 1863–1933), also known as Father Abraham, was an Armenian politician, the Parliamentary President (speaker) of the First Republic of Armenia in 1918–19, the social security minister and member of ARF Dashnaktsutiun Eastern Bureau. He was also known as agricultural scientist. Biography Sahakian was born in Jalaloghly, Tiflis Governorate (present-day Stepanavan, Armenia). He was included in Western Armenian liberation activities (since 1898) and ARF Caucasian project. Bako Sahakyan
Bako Sahaki Sahakyan (; born 30 August 1960) is an Armenian politician who served as the third president of the ''de facto''-independent Republic of Artsakh from 2007 to 2020. He is the longest-serving president of Artsakh. He was first elected as president on 19 July 2007. On 19 July 2012, he was re-elected for a second five-year term, receiving approximately two-thirds of the votes. In 2017, he was re-elected indirectly for a three-year term. Sahakyan replaced Arkadi Ghukasyan, who had held the presidential post for two five-year terms. Artsakh ( ), officially the Republic of Artsakh or the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh ( ), was a breakaway state in the South Caucasus whose territory was internationally recognised as part of Azerbaijan. Galust Grigorii Sahakyan (Armenian:Գալուստ Գրիգորիի Սահակյան; 8 April 1949 – 18 December 2022) was an Armenian politician and statesman, who served as MP, and the  President of the National Assembly of Armenia.
