A saga is a story in Old Norse about ancient Scandinavian and Germanic history. Saga
Sagas are prose stories and histories, composed in Iceland and to a lesser extent elsewhere in Scandinavia. The most famous saga-genre is the (sagas concerning Icelanders), which feature Viking voyages, migration to Iceland, and feuds between Icelandic families. However, sagas' subject matter is diverse, including legendary saga, pre-Christian Scandinavian legends; Heilagramannasögur, saints and Biskupasögur, bishops both from Scandinavia and elsewhere; konungasögur, Scandinavian kings and Samtíðarsögur, contemporary Icelandic politics; and chivalric romances either translated from Continental European languages or composed locally. Sagas originated in the Middle Ages, but continued to be composed in the ensuing centuries. Saga (event)
Saga is an annual musical festival organized by Royal College Colombo. The first SAGA was held in 2004 and since then has become an important event on Colombo's cultural calendar. It is named after the ancient Greek epic poems the Odyssey and the Iliad attributed to Homer. In the aspect of oriental music the term referred to the oriental version of sing musical scales as ‘Sa’ refers to the oriental equivalent of the 1st degree- “Do” while “Ga” refers to the equivalent of the 3rd degree, or “Me” History For many years before Saga, an annual concert performed by the Royal College Hostel named Miyasi Meerawaya. Saga (band)
Saga is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Oakville, Ontario. Bassist and keyboardist Jim Crichton and Welsh-born vocalist and keyboardist Michael Sadler are the principal songwriters. Saga has had numerous line-up changes over the years. Ian and Jim Crichton were the only two original members who appeared on every album. Sadler appeared on every release, apart from the 2009 album ''The Human Condition (Saga album), The Human Condition''. Keyboardist Jim Gilmour was with the band from 1979, making his debut on the album ''Silent Knight (album), Silent Knight''. Drummer Steve Negus performed with Saga until 1986. Saga (Alice Nine)
is a Japanese visual kei Rock music, rock band formed in Tokyo in 2004. They were a part of PS Company until 2014. The band had King Records (Japan), King Records as its record label until 2010, when they joined Tokuma Japan Communications, Tokuma Japan. Then, in 2013, the band joined Universal Music Group's Nayutawave Records, Nayutawave (UMG), Nayutawave Records. They shortened their name to A9 in 2015, but switched back to Alice Nine in 2019. The Artifacts Cycle is a tetralogy of ''Magic: The Gathering'' expansion sets centered on the exploits of Urza Planeswalker.
