Safwat Al-Tafasir
Safwat al-Tafasir () is a 20th-century work of Qur'an exegesis (Arabic: ''tafsir'') by the scholar Muhammad Ali al-Sabuni. It is an interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an, explaining their meanings and implications, and what can be taken from them. Its author relied on the most important sources for interpreting the Holy Qur’an, taken from the most reliable books of interpretation of the early imams. It also mentions the sayings of the later ones. The book Safwat Al-Tafasir includes a summary of the sayings of the imams of interpretation, in a simple style that makes it easy for the learner and reader to understand, and clear and useful expressions. It is concerned with interpreting linguistic meanings, rhetorical styles, and what the verses contain of implications and rulings. He cites from several other tafsirs including Al-Tabari, Al-Kashshaf, Al-Qurtubi, Al-Alusi, Ibn Kathir, and al-Bahr al-Muhit by Abu Hayyan al-Gharnati. Muhammad Ali Al-Sabuni
Muhammad 'Ali al-Sabuni () (1 January, 1930 – 19 March, 2021) was a prominent Syrian Hanafi scholar. He is probably best known for his Qur'anic exegesis entitled Safwat al-Tafasir (The Elite of Interpretations). He died at the age of 91 in Turkey's Yalova province. Tafsir Al-Tabari
''Jāmiʿ al-bayān ʿan taʾwīl āy al-Qurʾān'' (, also written with ''fī'' in place of ''ʿan''), popularly ''Tafsīr al-Ṭabarī'' (), is a Sunni ''tafsir'' by the Persian scholar Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari (838–923). Al-Kashshaaf
''Al-Kashshaaf 'an Haqa'iq at-Tanzil'', popularly known as ''Al-Kashshaaf'' () is a seminal tafsir (commentary on the Qur'an) by Al-Zamakhshari written in the 12th century.
