Safe House Museum
The Safe House Black History Museum is a museum and cultural center in Greensboro, Alabama, Greensboro, Alabama, United States. In March 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. used one of the museum's buildings as a safe house two weeks before Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., he was assassinated on April 4 in Memphis, Tennessee, Memphis. Osama bin Laden's compound, known locally as the Waziristan Haveli (), was a large, upper-class house within a walled compound used as a safe house for militant leader Osama bin Laden, who was Killing of Osama bin Laden, shot and killed there by U.S. forces on 2 May 2011.
