Sadıq Asəf oğlu Sadıqov (born November 9, 1965, in Naxçıvan) is the President of the Neftchi Baku PFK since December 2009. Career In 1990 graduated Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute named after Ch. Ildyryma, in mechanics department. He is executive director of the Sports Health Complex of Neftchi, Executive Member of the National Olympic Committee, Honorary Figure of Physical Culture and Sports. As of December 2009, he is the president of the Neftchi. Naxçıvan (city)
Nakhchivan ( ; ) is the capital and largest city of the eponymous Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a true exclave of Azerbaijan, located west of Baku. The municipality of Nakhchivan consists of the city of Nakhchivan, the settlement of Əliabad and the villages of Başbaşı, Bulqan, Haciniyyət, Qaraçuq, Qaraxanbəyli, Tumbul, Qarağalıq, and Daşduz. It is spread over the foothills of Zangezur Mountains, on the right bank of the Nakhchivan River at an altitude of above sea level. Azerbaijanis (; , ), Azeris (, ), or Azerbaijani Turks (, ) are a Turkic ethnic group living mainly in the Azerbaijan region of northwestern Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan. They are predominantly Shia Muslims. They comprise the largest ethnic group in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the second-largest ethnic group in neighboring Iran and Georgia. They speak the Azerbaijani language, belonging to the Oghuz branch of the Turkic languages. Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU; ) is a public university, specialized in engineering, located in Baku, Azerbaijan. The University has 9 schools and 54 departments, 884 faculty members and approximately, 10.000 students. History November 14, 1920, the Soviet government decided that the previous technical school " Baku Polytechnicum" would be closed and replaced by the Baku Polytechnic Institute. The new school focused on training engineers in such sectors as agriculture, civil engineering, electromechanics, economics, and oil. In 1923, the school changed its name to the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute. In March 1929 the Communist Party of Azerbaijan decided that the school would be divided into three independent schools covering agriculture, economy, and oil.
