Sadiq Batcha
Sadiq Batcha ( – 16 March 2011) was an Indian entrepreneur and the managing director of real estate company Green House Promoters Private company limited by shares, Private Limited. Sadiq allegedly committed suicide under suspicious circumstances related to the 2G spectrum case in India. Police found a suicide note that read the reason as the excessive media coverage that maligned his image said he felt sorry for A. Raja's plight. Early career Batcha was born in kattur village in Lalgudi taluk, Trichy, one of four brothers. Whilst Batcha was still in Karur his two brothers Jamal Mohammed and Jaffar Ali opened a real estate business. Batcha received a Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration (MBA). He had a modest start to his career, selling mattresses and clothes as a door-to-door salesperson. A private company limited by shares is a class of private limited company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, Hong Kong, Northern Ireland, Scotland, certain Commonwealth jurisdictions, and the Republic of Ireland. It has shareholders with limited liability and its shares may not be offered to the general public, unlike those of a public limited company. "Limited by shares" means that the liability of the shareholders to creditors of the company is limited to the capital originally invested, i.e. the nominal value of the shares and any premium paid in return for the issue of the shares by the company.
