Sadat Colony
Sadat Colony Karachi Block 20 is located in Gulberg town in Karachi, Pakistan. It is a name of block 20 of Federal B Area, Karachi and has a predominantly Shia population of around 99%. Initially it was the project of Sadat colony near Karachi airport in the early 1960s but because of expanded airport plans a few blocks of a proposed colony in that area was shifted to a newly formed subdivision of Karachi named F.B Area block 20. Four lanes of Block 20 constituting 1000, 400 and 200 yard square houses were allotted to Sadat Colony trust. Later on more Sadat (plural of Sayyed) moved to this block in 120 yard houses. Gulberg Town, Karachi
Gulberg Town ( Sindhi and ) lies in the northern part of Karachi, Pakistan. Gulberg Town was formed in 2001 as part of the Local Government Ordinance 2001, and was subdivided into 11 union councils. The town system was disbanded in 2011, and Gulberg Town was re-organized as part of Karachi Central District in 2015 and the Karachi Towns were restored in early 2022. The Muhajir people (also spelled Mohajir and Mahajir) () are a multi-origin ethnic group of Pakistan. They are the Muslim immigrants of various ethnic groups and regional origins, who migrated from various regions of India after the 1947 independence to settle in the newly independent state of Pakistan, and their descendants.
