Sachora Brahmin
The Sachora Brahmin are a Brahmin communitiy found in Gujarat. They originate from Sanchore in Rajasthan. They are mainly agriculturalists. They also occupy an important position in facilitating worship in the Vallabha Sampradāya where they prepare food for the svarūpas. Sanchore
Sanchore is a City in Jalore district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is the headquarters of the Sanchore tehsil located on National Highway 68. The town is situated from the city of Jalore and was once known as Satyapur. Nearby villages include Amli ( away), Chitalvana ( away) and Dabhal ( away). Economy many infrastructure projects were in progress in Sanchor. Oil exploration company Cairn Energy, discovered of crude oil in the Barmer-Sanchore basin in 2010. Vallabha Sampradaya
Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhu (1479–1531 CE), also known as Vallabha, Mahaprabhuji and Vishnuswami, or Vallabha Acharya, is a Hindu Indian saint and philosopher who founded the Krishna-centered PushtiMarg sect of Vaishnavism in the Braj(Vraj) region of India, and the Vedanta philosophy of Shuddha Advaita (Pure Non-dualism). He is the Jagadguru Acharya and Guru of the Pushti Marg bhakti tradition and Suddhadwait Brahmavad (Vedant Philosophy), which he founded after his own interpretation of the Vedanta philosophy. Sompura Brahmin
The Sompura Brahmin are a Hindu caste found in the state of Gujarat and Rajasthan in India. They are a sub-group of the Brahmin community. History and origin According to their traditions, the Sompura Brahmin are so named because they were created by the god Chandra to perform sacred ceremonies called ''Som Yajna'' for the god Shiva.
