Mohammed Al-Sabry
Mohammed al-Sabry (also spelled al-Sabri) was a Yemeni politician and an opposition leader (also identified as a spokesman) for the Common Forum coalition of opposition parties (which includes Reform, Socialist, Nasserist, Popular Force and al-Haq) in the 2011 Yemeni protests. He had also been described as a spokesman for the opposition coalition known as the Political parties in Yemen#List of parties, Joint Meeting Parties (JMP), which includes Islah, the country's largest Islamic party, as well as the Socialist Party and the Nasserite Party. Sabry was a critic of the Houthis, Houthi 2014–15 Yemeni coup d'état, coup d'état in 2015, predicting it would lead to Yemen being isolated on the international and regional stage. 2025 Boulder Fire Attack
On June 1, 2025, in Boulder, Colorado, United States, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian man living in Colorado, allegedly used a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails to attack a group participating in a solidarity walk for the hostages taken from Israel during the October 7 attacks. The attack left at least seven people injured, including the suspect. Soliman yelled several political expressions during the attack, and later stated in a police interview that he targeted the group because he believed they were Zionists. Soliman was charged with a federal hate crime and 118 state criminal charges. Background A solidarity walk was organized by the local Boulder chapter of Run for Their Lives, a national group which has hosted weekly events since October 7, 2023, in support of the hostages held in Gaza. Mazen Hesham Al Sabry (; born 29 March 1994 in Cairo) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He is a two-times world team champion and reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 5 in May 2024. Career Hesham first became prominent in 2012, when he secured third place in the WSF junior championships in Doha. Following this result, he joined the PSA world Tour. Hesham secured his first PSA world tour title in March of the same year in the NSC scram series in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. Hend Sabry (, born 1979) is a Tunisian and Egyptian actress and producer. She is mostly known for being active in Egyptian cinema.
