Sabine Weyer
Sabine Weyer (born 8 May 1988) is a pianist from Luxembourg. She is a professor of piano at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg. Early life and education Weyer was born in Luxembourg City, and started playing piano at the age of six. She studied in her home country at the Conservatoire de Musique Esch-sur-Alzette, then at the Conservatoire national régional (now the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Metz) in France with Bernard Lerouge where she received the Médaille d’or (2006) and the Prix de Perfectionnement with a unanimous jury (2007), and finally at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels with Aleksandar Madžar, where she received her master's degree and Postgraduate Diploma in piano performance. During her studies she trained with Oxana Yablonskaya, Mario Patuzzi, Michel Béroff, Vassil Guenov, Aquiles Delle Vigne and Françoise Buffet-Arsenijevic. Pavel Vernikov (born 1953) is a Ukrainian violinist, a member of Vienna University and a winner of Munich International Competition. Biography Vernikov was born in Odesa where he graduated from the Stolyarsky Music School where he studied with the Mordkovich brothers under the mentorship of Semyon Snitkovsky at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Later on, he participated in various Violin Competitions in both Germany (Munich) and Italy (Florence) and since then appeared worldwide in such places as both Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center in New York, London's Wigmore Hall and many others.
