Sabine Poleyn
Sabine Poleyn (born 27 November 1973) is a Flemish politician for the Christian Democratic and Flemish party. Born in Kortrijk, Belgium, Poleyn studied sociology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Then she studied Development at the Université de Liège, and was an Erasmus student in Amsterdam. After her training Poleyn combined two jobs; working for seven years in education and five years as coordinator of a network of Christian-inspired solidarity. In 2000, Poleyn became a member of the municipal council of Zwevegem. In 2004, she was on the Flemish elected representative from West Flanders. In 2006, she won 1970 votes and she has since been in the municipal council. She is also a member of the Police of the area of Mira since 2001. Mira (), designation Omicron Ceti (ο Ceti, abbreviated Omicron Cet, ο Cet), is a red-giant star estimated to be 200–400 light-years from the Sun in the constellation Cetus. ο Ceti is a binary stellar system, consisting of a variable red giant (Mira A) along with a white dwarf companion ( Mira B). Mira A is a pulsating variable star and was the first non- supernova variable star discovered, with the possible exception of Algol. It is the prototype of the Mira variables. Zwevegem () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Heestert, Moen, Otegem, Sint-Denijs and Zwevegem. On January 1, 2019, Zwevegem had a total population of 24,648. The total area is 63.24 km2 which gives a population density of 380 inhabitants per km2. Christian Democratic and Flemish (, , CD&V) is a Flemish Christian-democratic political party in Belgium.
