Sabeen Mahmud
Sabeen Mahmud (20 June 1974 – 24 April 2015) () was a progressive Pakistani human rights activist and social worker who founded the Karachi-based cafe '' The Second Floor''. She also presided over the Karachi branch of TiE. Born and raised in Karachi, Mahmud was educated at Karachi Grammar and later at the Kinnaird College. She later founded an interactive media and technology consulting firm and worked to establish the Citizens Archive of Pakistan. She set up ''The Second Floor (T2F)'' in 2007 aimed at providing a community space for open dialogue. Under Mahmud's leadership, T2F arranged a series of liberal social activities. She also co-led protests against the Red Mosque in Islamabad, and also took part in ''Pakistan for All'', a campaign to end sectarianism and religious intolerance in Pakistan. The Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is the premier Pakistani Intelligence community, intelligence agency of Pakistan. Fasi Zaka (; born 9 October) is a Pakistani political commentator, columnist, radio talk show host, and television anchor. Zaka attended Somerville College, Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. He rose to prominence for his satirical views of the War on Terror and emergency rule, as host of ''News, Views & Confused'' on Aaj TV. Altaf Hussain (Pakistani Politician)
Altaf Hussain (; ; born 17 September 1953 in Karachi) is a British Pakistani politician who is known as the founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. He holds United Kingdom citizenship and has been living in exile in the UK since the start of Operation Clean-up. Since 2015, he has been a fugitive from the Anti Terrorism Court of Pakistan on the charges of 'murder, targeted killing, treason, inciting violence and hate speech'. He went on trial in the UK in January 2022 for 'promoting terrorism and unrest through hate speech in Pakistan', and was acquitted the next month. Balochistan (; ; , ) is a province of Pakistan. Located in the southwestern region of the country, Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan by land area but is the least populated one. Target Killings In Pakistan
Targeted killings in Pakistan (Urdu: نشانی قاتلوں or ہدفی ہلاکتوں) have been a rising form of violence and have contributed to security instability in the country. They have become common and have gained attention especially in Karachi, Pakistan's largest city, economic capital and capital city of the Sindh province. Several targeted killings have also occurred in Quetta, the capital of the southern province of Balochistan.
