Sabah Hakka Complex
Sabah Hakka Complex ( zh, 沙巴客家情结; ) is a five-storey building complex with a multi-purpose event hall with a in-house fine dining seafood restaurant located in Lot No. 26, Signal Hill Road, Tanjung Lipat, Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The building was a gift of the Sabah government to the dominant minority local Hakka Chinese community's contributions to the economy of Sabah since their early migration period with the main building structure is designed after the world-famous traditional Hakka houses in Fujian of China, the '' Tulao''. Features The complex features two main buildings of ''Wisma Hakka'' and ''Dewan Hakka'' (Hakka Hall). The hall became the centre for the inaugural Hakka International Creativity Forum 2015. Jean Ronny Johnsen (born 10 June 1969) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a centre-back or defensive midfielder. He played club football in Norway, Turkey, and England for Sem, Stokke, Eik-Tønsberg, Lyn, Lillestrøm, Beşiktaş, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Vålerenga. Hakka People
The Hakka (), sometimes also referred to as Hakka-speaking Chinese, or Hakka Chinese, or Hakkas, are a southern Han Chinese subgroup whose principal settlements and ancestral homes are dispersed widely across the provinces of southern China and who speak a language that is closely related to Gan Chinese, Gan, a Han Chinese dialect spoken in Jiangxi province. Likas
Likas is a sub-district in the city of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and is the location of several buildings or landmarks such as the Sabah International Convention Centre, the Signal Hill Observatory Tower, Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, Kinabalu Tower, Sabah Trade Centre, Tun Mustapha Tower, Wisma Innoprise, Sabah Hakka Complex as well as the Sabah State Legislative Assembly. This area is also mostly covered by housing estates such as the Likas Village. Likas is also a bustling metropolitan area where new high skyscrapers buildings have recently flourished. The area is also known for its beaches, the "Tanjung Lipat or Likas Bay", a coastal line stretching about 7 kilometres from the city port until the Tun Mustapha Tower.
