Saba Rajendran
Saba Rajendran is an Indian politician and an incumbent Member of legislative assembly of Tamil Nadu, Neyveli. He was born in Sorathur on 18 June 1961. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.E. in mechanical engineering. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Neyveli constituency in the 2016 elections. Previously he was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Nellikuppam constituency in the 2006 election. He again won the election in 2021 in Neyveli constituency. Early life and education Saba Rajendran, was born and brought up in Sorathur village, Cuddalore, Tamilnadu. Cuddalore
Cuddalore, also spelt as Kadalur (), is the city and headquarters of the Cuddalore District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Situated south of Chennai, Cuddalore was an important port during the British Raj. NLC India Limited (NLC) (formerly Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited) is a central public sector undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. 2006 Tamil Nadu State Assembly Election
The thirteenth legislative assembly election, of Tamil Nadu was held on 8 May 2006. It was held for all 234 constituencies to elect the government in the state for the following five years. The votes were counted three days later on 11 May 2006 and all the results were out by the end of the day. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam-led (DMK) front won the elections, with the DMK emerging as the single-largest party with 96 seats, and its leader, M Karunanidhi was sworn in as Chief Minister for a fifth and final term. This election marked the first time the state saw a hung assembly with no party gaining a majority of its own. 2016 Tamil Nadu State Assembly Election
The Fifteenth Legislative Assembly Election was held on 16 May 2016 for the 232 seats (except Thanjavur and Aravakurichi for which held on 26 October 2016) of the Legislative Assembly in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. AIADMK under J. Jayalalithaa won the elections and became the first ruling party to be re-elected in Tamil Nadu since 1984, though with a simple majority.
