Saalschutz is a Swiss electropop band from Zurich. The band classifies its style as "techno punk". Band history After a split album, split single with Knarf Rellöm, released on Rewika Records in 2003, the first album followed in 2004, released on ZickZack records. Saalschutz combines electronic dance music with mostly German, sometimes English and seldom French or Swiss German lyrics which often have dadaistic characteristics. It combines the styles of synthpop, electropunk and electroclash – as well as Heavy metal music, metal, garage rock, tribal house and Trance music, trance – creating a style similar to that of Knarf Rellöm, Räuberhöhle (band), Räuberhöhle and (in parts) Egotronic. Audiolith Records is a German Independent record label from Bahrenfeld, Hamburg, which publishes mainly Electronic music and Indie rock. While the bands under the label have varied musical styles, the label's main focus is on Electropunk, where it has developed significant influence on the German music scene. Egotronic
Egotronic is a German electropunk band from Berlin formed in 2000. It is well known for its Antideutsch political views. Band history After a couple of projects released through self-publishing, Egotronic joined the Hamburg record label Audiolith Records in 2005, whereon their first single ''Nein nein/Luxus'' (''No no/luxury'') got released. The band went on a tour through Russia (accompanied by the artist Plemo) during the same year. In 2006, Egotronic released their first album ''Die richtige Einstellung'' (''The right attitude''). The second album, ''Lustprinzip'' (''Pleasure principle'') followed in 2007, the third one in 2008.
