Saad Al Sheeb
Saad Abdullah Mohammed Ebrahim Al-Sheeb (; born 19 February 1990) is a Qatari professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Qatar Stars League club Al Sadd and the Qatar national team. International career He made his debut for the senior national team of Qatar in 2009. He was a part of the 23-man Qatar squad that was crowned champions of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. With Al-Sheeb starting in all of Qatar's seven matches, the team conceded only a single goal, resulting in him winning the 'Best Goalkeeper Award'. The 2019 AFC Asian Cup (or commonly called the Asian Cup 2019) was the 17th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international association football, football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in the United Arab Emirates from 5 January to 1 February 2019. Emir of Qatar Cup (), also known as the Emir Cup, but changed to Amir Cup starting in 2019, is an association football tournament played every season by all first and second division teams in Qatar. The tournament is played in a knockout system, starting with the round of 16. If there is no winner after regulation time, a Penalty shoot-out (association football), penalty shootout decides the winner. History The Emir of Qatar Cup is the biggest football cup in the country. The cup was originally only contested by first division teams, but in 1999 the Qatar Football Association decided to allow all second division teams to participate. The Sheikh Jassim Cup () is an annual men's super cup competition in Qatari football held between the winner of the Qatar Stars League and the Emir of Qatar Cup.
