Subramaniam Santosh, popularly known as S.Santosh is an Indian cricketer, who has played in 30 first-class cricket, first-class matches between 1983 and 1992. He also played a World Cup warm up match representing South Zone against Australia in 1987. Santosh, an allrounder, was a prominent player of 80's Kerala cricket team and he, along with his cricketer brothers S.Ramesh and S.Rajesh, played an integral role in making Kerala team, a notable one of South India in 1980's. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The Kerala cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Kerala. It is in the Elite Group of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first class cricket tournament in India. It was known as Travancore-Cochin cricket team until 1957/58. Kerala has produced two Indian Test cricketers, Tinu Yohannan and S. Sreesanth.
