S (New York City Subway Service)
Three services in the New York City Subway are designated as a S (shuttle train, shuttle) service. These services operate as full-time or almost full-time shuttles. In addition, three services run as shuttles during late night hours but retain their regular service designations. The BMT Franklin Avenue Line (also known as the Brighton–Franklin Line) is a Medium-capacity rail system, lower capacity rapid transit line of the New York City Subway, New York City Subway’s B Division (NYCS), B Division in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, running between Franklin Avenue (BMT Franklin Avenue Line), Franklin Avenue and Prospect Park (BMT Brighton Line), Prospect Park. Myrtle Avenue (BMT Jamaica Line)
The Myrtle Avenue station (announced on New Technology Trains as the Myrtle Avenue–Broadway station) is a New York City Subway express station on the BMT Jamaica Line. Located at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Broadway (Brooklyn), Broadway at the border of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, Bedford-Stuyvesant and Bushwick, Brooklyn, it is served by the J (New York City Subway service), J and M (New York City Subway service), M trains at all times (the latter of which terminates here during late nights), and by the Z (New York City Subway service), Z during rush hours in peak direction. The Euclid Avenue station is an express station on the IND Fulton Street Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Euclid and Pitkin Avenues in East New York, Brooklyn. It is served by the A (New York City Subway service), A train at all times and is the southern terminal for the C (New York City Subway service), C train at all times except nights. During nights, this is the northern terminal for the Ozone Park–Lefferts Boulevard (IND Fulton Street Line), Lefferts Boulevard shuttle train from Ozone Park, Queens. The East 180th Street station (originally East 180th Street–Morris Park Avenue station) is an elevated express station on the IRT White Plains Road Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of East 180th Street and Morris Park Avenue in the West Farms and Van Nest neighborhoods of the Bronx, it is served by the 2 and 5 trains at all times. It is the southern terminal for late-night 5 trains. The East 180th Street station was built by the Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT) under the Dual Contracts and opened in 1917 as part of an extension of the White Plains Road Line to East 219th Street–White Plains Road.
