SV Honselersdijk
Sportverenging Honselersdijk is a football club from Honselersdijk, Netherlands. Since 2018 it plays in the Eerste Klasse. It plays at Sportpark de Strijphorst in an orange-white-blue kit. The club also has a successful futsal team. History 20th century Sportvereniging Honselersdijk was founded on 6 May 1964. In 1965–66 it beat the factory team of Van der Heem 12–0. In 1982 Honselersdijk joined the main leagues of the KNVB, starting in the Vierde Klasse. Until 2018, Honselersdijk hovered between the Vierde, Derde and Tweede Klasse. It won a championship in the Vierde Klasse in 1988 and in the Derde Klasse in 1997. 21st century In 2009–10 Honselersdijk beat VV Marine 9–0 and HSV Celeritas 12–0. Honselersdijk is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is home to the historic Huis Honselaarsdijk, former palatial estate of the Dutch Princes of Orange. Huis Honselaarsdijk was one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture and grounds in the history of The Netherlands. Eerste Klasse
The Eerste Klasse ( en, First Class) started as the 1st tier of football in the Netherlands and is now the 6th tier. The league is divided into eleven divisions, six for Saturday clubs and five for Sunday clubs. These divisions correspond to the six districts of the Royal Dutch Football Association: each district organises a Saturday competition and a Sunday competition, except for South II, which only has a Sunday competition. Each division consists of 14 teams. The champion of the Eerste Klasse divisions are promoted to the Vierde Divisie (formerly Hoofdklasse). Furthermore, a season is divided into two periods ( nl, periodes) of eight matches each. The Royal Dutch Football Association (, ; KNVB ) is the governing body of football in the Netherlands. Valken '68 is a Dutch football club from Valkenburg, South Holland. It was founded in 1968 and plays its home games at Sportpark 't Duyfrak. The colors of Valken '68 are red-yellow, which are the colors of Valkenburg. The first squad plays in the Eerste Klasse Saturday since 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands has resulted in confirmed cases of COVID-19 and deaths. The virus reached the Netherlands on 27 February 2020, when its first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Tilburg. It involved a 56-year-old Dutchman who had arrived in the Netherlands from Italy, where the COVID-19 pandemic seemed to enter Europe. As of 31 January 2021, there are 978,475 confirmed cases of infections and 13,998 confirmed deaths. The first death occurred on 6 March, when an 86-year-old patient died in Rotterdam.
