STEAM Fields
STEAM education is an approach to teaching STEM subjects that incorporates artistic skills like creative thinking and design. The name derives from the acronym ''STEM'', with an ''A'' added to stand for ''arts''. Inspired by the Maker movement and S.T.E.A.M. education, SteamHead has a mandate to "empower communities through creativity." John Maeda (born 1966) is a Vice President of Design and Artificial Intelligence at Microsoft.
