SR-71 (band)
SR-71 was an American rock music, rock band formed in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1998. They are best known for their 2000 single "Right Now (SR-71 song), Right Now", their 2002 single "Tomorrow (SR-71 song), Tomorrow", and as the original authors of Bowling for Soup's 2004 hit "1985 (SR-71 song), 1985" (which was released first on their album ''Here We Go Again (SR-71 album), Here We Go Again''). The name of the band came from Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, SR-71 Blackbird, a supersonic surveillance aircraft of the United States Air Force. The band was originally known as Honor Among Thieves, and as was later the case with SR-71, lead singer Mitch Allan was the only constant member. Jane's Addiction was an American Rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. Unwritten Law is an American punk rock band formed in 1990 in Poway, California by drummer Wade Youman. The band has undergone multiple line-up changes, with Youman the sole remaining original member – however, he has left the group twice in its three-decade history. John Matthew Shanks (born December 18, 1964) is an American songwriter, record producer and guitarist. He has been a longtime session and touring member of the rock band Bon Jovi. Early life and education Shanks was born in New York City and moved to Los Angeles when he was 17 years old. He was in a band called Line One with jazz saxophonist Boney James. Career Shanks began playing in Melissa Etheridge's band in 1988 and toured with her for several years.
