SR-168 (UT)
State Route 168 is a state highway in the state of Utah that spans from Riverdale, Utah to Hill Air Force Base in Weber County. Route description This route is essentially a short access road to the former north gate at Hill Air Force Base. The southern terminus of this route is at the now-closed north gate of Hill Air Force Base. From there it travels downhill and northwest before turning northeast and ending at SR-60 (Riverdale Road). History On November 13, 1961, the Utah State Road Commission added the road from SR-60 to the north entrance of Hill Air Force Base entrance to the state highway system, and the state legislature approved it the next year. Although the north entrance has since been closed, the route has remained essentially unchanged. Hill Air Force Base
Hill Air Force Base is a major U.S. Air Force (USAF) base located in northern Utah, just south of the city of Ogden, and bordering the Cities of Layton, Clearfield, Riverdale, Roy, and Sunset with its largest border immediately adjacent to Clearfield and Layton. Riverdale is a city in southern Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 8,426 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden– Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. Weber County ( ) is a county in the U.S. state of Utah. As of the 2020 census, the population was 262,223, making it Utah's fourth-most populous county. Its county seat and largest city is Ogden, the home of Weber State University. The county was named for the Weber River. Utah State Route 60
State Route 60 (SR-60) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah, serving local traffic in the Ogden area. It parallels Interstate 84 (I-84) from SR-26 in Riverdale to U.S. Route 89 (US-89) in South Weber, and was part of the first state highway into Weber Canyon. Route description The entire length of SR-60 is just south of the Weber River and north of the Davis-Weber Canal in the cities of Riverdale and South Weber. The highway begins at SR-26 (Riverdale Road) and heads south under I-84, turning southeast at the SR-168 intersection and slowly climbing towards the end at US-89.
