SH1 (classification)
SH1 is a Paralympic shooting classification. Sport Athletes in this Paralympic shooting sport class either shoot with a pistol or a rifle. They do not require a shooting stand, because their arms are affected by impairment to a lesser extent and allow for sufficient support of the pistol or rifle. Eligible pistol shooters, for example, have an impaired non-shooting arm, such as amputation or muscle weakness. Becoming classified Sub-classifications A, B and C define wheelchair backrest height depending on back and pelvic strength per athlete. Ambulant or wheelchair using shooters regardless of sub-classifications A, B or C shoot together in this class. Classification is handled by International Paralympic Committee Shooting. PCL-09
The PCL-09, exported as CS/SH1, is a Chinese truck-mounted self-propelled howitzer used by the People's Liberation Army Ground Force. The armoured fighting vehicle is developed by Norinco and was first commissioned in 2009 with a 122 mm gun-howitzer using projectiles with a range of and a firing rate of 6–8 rounds per minute. Mounted on a Shaanxi SX2150 6×6 truck, it is also equipped with the satellite navigation system BeiDou. It was used for the first time during a military exercise of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in 2010. Sharpless Catalog
The Sharpless catalog is a list of 313 H II regions (emission nebulae) intended to be comprehensive north of declination −27°. (It does include some nebulae south of that declination as well.) The first edition was published in 1953 with 142 objects (Sh1), and the second and final version was published by US astronomer Stewart Sharpless in 1959 with 312 objects. Sharpless also includes some planetary nebulae and supernova remnants, in addition to H II regions. In 1953 Stewart Sharpless joined the staff of the United States Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station, where he surveyed and cataloged H II regions of the Milky Way using the images from the Palomar Sky Survey.
