Plain Parakeet
The plain parakeet (''Brotogeris tirica'') is a species of bird in subfamily Arinae of the family Psittacidae, the African and New World parrots. It is endemic to Brazil. Taxonomy and systematics The plain parakeet was formally described in 1788 by the German naturalist Johann Friedrich Gmelin in his revised and expanded edition of Carl Linnaeus's ''Systema Naturae''. He placed it with all the other parrots in the genus ''Psittacus'' and coined the binomial name ''Psittacus tirica''. The type locality was subsequently designated as Brazil. The plain parakeet is now placed with seven other parakeets in genus ''Brotogeris'' that was introduced in 1825 by Irish zoologist Nicholas Aylward Vigors. The genus name is from the Ancient Greek ''brotogērus'' meaning "with human voice". The specific epithet ''tirica'' is from the Tupi language ''tiriba'' meaning "tinkling". IFFHS World's Best Club
The IFFHS World's Best Club is a football award given annually since 1991 to the world's best club. The award is given by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), the entity has also produced a monthly Club World Ranking. The ranking takes into consideration the results of twelve months of continental and intercontinental competitions, national league matches (including play-offs) and the most important national cup (excluding points won before the round of 16). Copa Mercosul
The Copa Mercosur (, , "Mercosur Cup") was a football competition played from 1998 to 2001 by the traditional top clubs from Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile. The competition was created by CONMEBOL to generate TV money to the participating teams, but it went beyond and ended up, together with the Copa Merconorte, as natural replacement to the CONMEBOL Cup. The 2022 CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana () was the 30th edition of the CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Recopa Sudamericana''), the football competition organized by CONMEBOL between the winners of the previous season's two major South American club tournaments, the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana. The competition was contested in two-legged home-and-away format between Brazilian teams Palmeiras, the 2021 Copa Libertadores champions, and Athletico Paranaense, the 2021 Copa Sudamericana champions. The Copa Rio ( English: Rio Cup) was an international club football tournament with teams from Europe and South America, having been held on two occasions, in 1951 and 1952, in Brazil. The Supercopa do Brasil (), also known as Supercopa Rei (), is a Brazilian association football trophy organized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). It is contested between the champions of the Campeonato Brasileiro and the winners of the Copa do Brasil. If the same club wins Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa do Brasil, their opponent will be the Campeonato Brasileiro runner-up.
