SEABA International Public School
The Southeast Asia Basketball Association (SEABA) is a subzone of FIBA Asia consisting of countries from Southeast Asia. The ASEAN Basketball League (ABL), a professional league, is the top level of club competition run by the SEABA. The 2005 FIBA Asia Championship qualification was held in late 2004 and early 2005 with the Gulf region, West Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia and Middle Asia (Central Asia and South Asia) each conducting tournaments. Malaysia National Basketball Team
The Malaysia men's national basketball team represents Malaysia at international basketball competitions. It is organized and run by the Malaysia Basketball Association (MABA); (Malay: ''Persatuan Bola Keranjang Malaysia''). The team had its prime time between 1960 and 1995 when it qualified for the FIBA Asia Championship, Asia's most prestigious basketball tournament, 18 times in a row. 2017 SEABA Championship
The 12th Southeast Asia Basketball Association SEABA Championship, Championship was the qualifying tournament for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup. It also served as a regional championship involving Southeast Asian basketball teams. It was held from 12 to 18 May 2017 in the Philippines. Originally scheduled to be held from 23 to 30 April 2017, SEABA decided to postpone the tournament to 15 to 21 May 2017 due to conflicting schedule with the ASEAN Basketball League and the Indonesian Basketball League. For the first time, this tournament only allotted one spot for the subzone for the renamed continental championship which was held in Lebanon from 10 to 20 August 2017. The 11th Southeast Asia Basketball Association SEABA Championship, Championship was the qualifying tournament for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship. It also served as a regional championship involving Southeast Asian basketball teams. It was held on 27 April to 1 May 2015 in Singapore. The three best teams at the end of the single round-robin tournament qualified for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship which was held in Changsha, Hunan, China from 23 September to 3 October 2015. As early as Day 4, the Philippine men's national basketball team, Philippines, Malaysia national basketball team, Malaysia and tournament host Singapore national basketball team, Singapore have secured the three slots for the Asian Championships.
