SD Gundam Gaiden Sieg Zion Hen
is a Japanese media project within the SD Gundam franchise produced between 1989 and 1990, centered on Bandai's plamo and Carddass trading cards. A manga drawn by Ryuuichi Hoshino and an anime adaptation of said manga by Sunrise were also released. It is the first work of the Knight Gundam series. is a media franchise that spawned from the ''Gundam'' franchise. SD Gundam takes the mecha (and characters) from Gundam and expresses them in super deformed and anthropomorphic style. Overview SD Gundam originated from a contributed illustration of a junior student from Nagoya by the name of Koji Yokoi to the "Model News" magazine that Bandai was issuing in the 1980s. The illustration is of a Gundam but with an unusual proportion where the overall height of the Gundam is equal to twice that of its head. This illustration interested the chief editor and led to Koji Yokoi serializing SD Gundam in 4 frame comics in "Model News". The super deformed designs were suitable for capsule toys, and so they were first merchandised as small SD Gundam-shaped erasers as part of the Gashapon series ''SD Gundam World'' in 1985. SD Sengokuden Musha Shichinin Shuu Hen
is the first work in the long-running Musha Gundam series. SD Sengokuden was the main title at first but became a subtitle by the time SD Sengokuden Tenka Touitsu Hen was released. It ran from 1988 to 1990. Outline SD Sengokuden first started in Comic World, drawn by MARSHI a.k.a. Imaishi Susumu. Comic World is the comic part of the instruction manual of BB Senshi No.17 Musha Gundam. Comic World tells the story of seven Gundams. With that concept, BB Senshi maker, Bandai together with Comic Bom Bom supplemented and expanded the story of Comic World.
