Sporting Clube Campomaiorense, more commonly known as Campomaiorense, was a Portuguese football club from Campo Maior, Portalegre District. The club was founded on the 1 July 1926. The club currently plays at the Estádio Capitão Cesar Correia which holds a seating capacity of 7500. The club has played in Portugal's top football division, the Primeira Liga, for five seasons and reached the 1999 Taça de Portugal final. Campomaiorense is part of the Portalegre Football Association, which is the football association in charge of the Portalegre district's football matters. Campo Maior () is a Municipalities of Portugal, municipality in the Portalegre District, Alentejo Region, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 8,456, in an area of . It is bordered by Spain on the North and East, by Elvas Municipality on the Southeast, and by Arronches Municipality on the West. Diamantino Manuel Fernandes Miranda (born 3 August 1959), known simply as Diamantino in his playing days, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He also worked as a manager. He most notably played for Benfica (11 seasons in two separate spells), appearing in more than 300 official matches and winning 11 major titles. Manuel Rui Azinhais Nabeiro (28 March 1931 – 19 March 2023) was a Portuguese billionaire businessman and philanthropist. He was the founder of the Delta Cafés group. Biography Rui Nabeiro was born in Campo Maior, District of Portalegre, Portugal, in 1931. He studied until the fourth grade, the primary school education in Portugal. The Estádio Nacional ', also known as Jamor National Sports Centre (), is a football stadium. It is located in the civil parish of Algés, Linda-a-Velha e Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo, in the municipality of Oeiras, in the southwestern part of Lisbon District.
