South Carolina Educational Television (branded South Carolina ETV, SCETV or simply ETV) is a state network of PBS member television stations serving the U.S. state of South Carolina. It is operated by the South Carolina Educational Television Commission, an agency of the state government which holds the licenses for all of the PBS member stations licensed in the state. The broadcast signals of the eleven television stations cover almost all of the state, as well as parts of North Carolina and Georgia. The network's primary operations are located on George Rogers Boulevard in Columbia, across from Williams-Brice Stadium on the campus of the University of South Carolina; SCETV operates satellite studios in Spartanburg, Sumter and Rock Hill. Dreher High School
Dreher High School is a co-educational four-year public high school in Richland County School District One located in Columbia, South Carolina, United States. Established in 1938, Dreher is one of the oldest public high schools in South Carolina. In 2022, Dreher was ranked the seventh-best high school in South Carolina and 1,017th in national rankings by '' U.S. News & World Report''. History In 1938, the third high school in Columbia was completed. It was built at 701 Adger Road on a ten-acre lot, which was once part of Governor Wade Hampton's estate, purchased for $25,000 from Burrell D. Manning. Dreher, who served as the second superintendent of Columbia City Schools from 1895 to 1918. In radio and television, broadcast delay is an intentional delay when broadcasting live material, technically referred to as a deferred live. Such a delay may be to prevent mistakes or unacceptable content from being broadcast. Longer delays lasting several hours can also be introduced so that the material is aired at a later scheduled time (such as the prime time hours) to maximize viewership. Tape delays lasting several hours can also be edited down to remove filler material or to trim a broadcast to the network's desired run time for a broadcast slot, but this is not always the case. The South Carolina General Assembly, also called the South Carolina Legislature, is the state legislature of the U.S. state of South Carolina.
