SAFA Regional League
The SAFA Regional League, known as the Hollywoodbets Regional League for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth tier of domestic football in the South African football pyramid. As of 2023, each region plays in a league of 18 teams, with the top two teams being promoted to the SAFA Second Division. Most teams are made up of players under the age of 19. In March 2023, the owner of North-West team Luka Ball Controllers was taken in for police questioning after allegedly paying R1000 each to five junior players from Swartruggens FC, their next opponents, to not attend the match, with the intention of winning by walkover. South African Football Association
The South African Football Association (colloquially known as SAFA) is the national administrative governing body that controls the sport of football in the Republic of South Africa (RSA) and is a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). SAFA established in 1991. The South African Football Association is the second Football Association in South Africa to be named the ''South African Football Association'' and it is also the second football association in South Africa to affiliate to FIFA. The present day South African Football Association, unlike its predecessor allows for a mixed-race national team. SAFA was admitted to FIFA in 1992 and its senior team has since represented South Africa at the Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA World Cup. SAFA Second Division
The SAFA Second Division (known as the ABC Motsepe League for sponsorship reasons, and previously the Vodacom League between 1998 and 2012, was founded in 1998 as the overall third tier of South African association football, football. The competition is regulated by South African Football Association, SAFA, and until 2012 had been sponsored by mobile telecommunications company Vodacom. It features 144 teams in total, divided into 9 divisions, borders decided by the 9 geo-political provinces of South Africa: Eastern Cape, Free State (South African province), Free State, KwaZulu Natal, Northern Cape, Western Cape, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West (South African province), North West. 2024-25 Hollywoodbets Regional League
A coxless four, abbreviated as a 4- and also called a straight four, is a racing shell used in the sport of competitive rowing. It is designed for four persons who propel the boat with sweep oars, without a coxswain. The crew consists of four rowers, each having one oar. There are two rowers on the stroke side (rower's right hand side) and two on the bow side (rower's lefthand side). As there is no coxswain, the rudder is controlled by one of the crew, normally with the rudder cable attached to the toe of one of their shoes which can pivot about the ball of the foot, moving the cable left or right.
